Hitachi Energy is establishing a Global SAP S/4HANA Solution (Program Reiwa) to drive standardization and harmonization of processes and to ensure efficient delivery of services for the business units. To support this global program, we are looking for a Global Solution Architect SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)

Your responsibilities

• Responsible with the End-to-end business process owner to design to be processes and derive solutions in our SAP ecosystem related to global trade.
• Supporting business process lead on process design as well as understanding of the as-is situation and responsible to propose the best design for the target integrated S/4 ecosystem
• Working closely, and being recognized as digital leader, by the E2E Stream Lead and enabling him to secure sustainable and maintainable solutions are pursued
• Challenge business on status-quo by proposing state of the art digital solutions and thrive to bring process and system simplification, harmonization, efficiency and automation to the organization
• Transpose business requirement into SAP functional- and Technical specifications and be responsible from design to support
• Take leadership to propose appropriate solution in SAP to satisfy the business requirement incl. cross functional alignment with peer architects
• Leading analysis on technical solution alternatives incl. required comparison for Key Design Decisions
• Oversee and facilitate test case preparation and unit testing and pre and integration testing
• Responsible for technical migration strategy evaluation and definition incl supporting business in data migration strategy and alignment
• Defend the template during wave deployment and responsible to review fit / gap analysis for any request for change and secure fit for purpose and backward compatibility
• Responsible to ensure Testing, Defect management, Training and Data migration during any deployment
• As Global Solution Architect be the mentor and guide for any future deployment and solution change management
• Responsible for Solution Documentation incl. Process Design in the central process repository in Solman for any changes ad secure governance is in place

Your background

• You hold master’s degree in of engineering in computer science, International Trade and Trade compliance or any related discipline
• Required 5+ years of solution architecture experience within Trade, Compliance and Risk area incl integration to up-stream and down-stream processes with expert experience within SAP GTS
• Integration experience with external parties like authorities, brokers and content providers in an advantage
• Solution Architecture experience in global integrated template projects
• Experience in designing and customizing SAP Global Trade Services as well as experience in WRICEF object design.
• Experience in SAP S/4 Hana, SAP SD and SAP MM as well as LE-TRA is required
• Leader skills incl. experience in leading and coordinating onsite & offshore teams
• Knowledge of main global Customs and Compliance regulations and their pattern related to an Industrial Company requirement
• Practical experience in applying at least one Architectural Framework, preferred TOGAF but also Zachman or others welcome
