For our BU Grid Automation, we are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Marketing and Sales team! Our company is committed to diversity and inclusion, and we are looking for a talented Sales Specialist to join our Belgrade, Serbia office. In this role, you will be part of a strong team of professionals within a business in the forefront of Grid Automation marketing and sales organization in the Balkan region. Your responsibilities

  • Accountable and responsible for pipeline generation for GA portfolio
  • Supporting customers during bidding, project execution/closure and cash collection within assigned geography/ zone
  • Effective implementation and usage of Marketing and Sales tools, market/competition intelligence
  • Creating added value for the customer and HITACHI ENERGY and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  • Defining the most suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application characteristics. Defining the configuration in accordance with bid commercial needs and requested quality metrics
  • Promoting and growing sales for PGGA products and services portfolio
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Conducting business with safety and integrity

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical) or recognized equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years in marketing/ sales of Grid Automation – GA (protection, automation, communication technologies) in preferred sectors Power utilities/ Oil and GAS / Railways/ Metros/ EPC/ End users as a system as well as product
  • SAP and Salesforce Experience are a plus
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings are a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent knowledge of Serbian, Croatian and English language
  • Driving license
  • Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessary
  • A collaborative, proactive and solutions-oriented approach
  • Devotion to personal development and readiness for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit
