Should work as Focal Point of material planning and Operation planning. Quick learner, Result Oriented, with proven track record in handling material Planning for 50 to 60 MUSD Business.
Your responsibilities
- Work with purchasing to communicate with suppliers on Material quality, on-time deliveries, and overall performance. (Supplier Evaluation)
- Plans and maintains a material procurement process that establishes and achieves the least total cost, best quality and timely delivery for facility material purchases from internal/external suppliers
- Regular review of inventory parameters
- Analyze inventory reports to identify slow moving items, overstocked items, and obsolete inventory
- Review long term forecast and make visible any sourcing decisions that might be needed
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Hitachi's Values and Philosophy, Safety and Environmental Standards
- Work with purchasing to identify cost out opportunities related to outside purchased materials
- Responsible for executing the end-to-end Material Master Process
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure
Your background
- Advance knowledge in SAP MM, PP Module and working knowledge of SD Module
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage
- Thorough understanding of MRP/ERP systems, Materials Management standards & procedures JIT principles (Kanban, pull system)
- Background in handling Material Master Data
