Team Leader Logistics Operations will lead a group of around 10 specialists. Will oversee the logistics planning, execution and freight settlement activities for a given geographical/business unit scope. Will maintain relationship with key stakeholders, internal and external. Will assure effective and efficient process management, resulting in meeting internal and external customer requirements and cost targets, as well as continuously improving team productivity.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the team of around 10 specialist, track performance, identify training needs, develop people, grow successors.
• Oversee logistics planning, execution and freight settlement processes for assigned geographical/business unit scope.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to continuously improve team efficiency and productivity.
• Search for cost savings initiatives in transportation category, focusing on logistics optimization possibilities or transport rate impact.
• Maintain constructive relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assure clear alignment with order creators/shipment requestors.

Your background

• 5 years of experience in transportation/supply chain area.
• Organized, structured and systematic work habits and mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to actively manage priorities under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, very good English.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Team leading or project leading experience is a plus.
• SAP MM/SD/TM/WM experience is preferred.
• Experience in working with advanced TMS platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics management is preferred.
