Hitachi Energy is seeking a Tender Manager for its North America Grid Integration Business Unit. The Grid Integration business is experiencing tremendous growth in EV charging systems, High Voltage Direct Current interconnections, Power Consulting, Power Quality solutions, Semiconductors, and many other exciting offerings in North America. This position can be remote within the United States. 10%-15% travel will be required.

Your responsibilities

• Stakeholder and supplier coordination
• Solution provider as per customer expectations
• Offer preparation in line with the standards and requirements
• Risk evaluation and mitigation strategy
• Competitive analysis and strategy leadership
• Exposure to high level management presenting the project risks and strategy

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline and 5 or more years of related experience
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
• Experience in tender/bidding/sales preferred
• Experience in HV Substations or Power Quality Solutions (FACTS solution like STATCOM, SVC, Synchronous Condensers, etc.), preferred in an international environment
• Prior experience leading a multi discipline team to interface with all internal company areas and external partners is preferred
• Strong analytical understanding and advanced skills in Excel
