For our BU High Voltage - IMP ( Integrated Multifunctional Products) we are looking for a Supply chain specialist.
Integrated Multifunctional Products (IMP) are modular and prefabricated switchgear installations based on well-proven gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and hybrid technologies.
Your responsibilities:
Purchases materials according to required technical specification, price,
delivery schedule and terms.
Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality, Engineering and Production specialists.
Designs and implements plans for sourcing to reach the business and projects targets and drives regional and global sourcing initiatives as required.
Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
Applies and implements Procurement and Logistics (PL) standards, tools, processes and policies in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Drives for the resolution of Non-conformances with suppliers and internal functions.
Creates and updates reports, as required, following the Hitachi Energy standards.
Applies standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.
Delivers and participates in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
Executes effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
Your background:
Bachelor or Master Degree (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline)
3 years of experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector in a similar role
Fluent in English and Italian
Experience with SAP is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
