The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will ensure that the supplier’s manufacturing processes will produce quality products that meet Hitachi Energy’s requirements.

2. You will ensure being supplier NCR, CCRP management and improvement.

3. You will support in IQC management and driving continuous improvement project or Kaizen.

4. You support in problems solving in early stage of material life cycle.

5. You will draft quality control plan according to criteria and requirements and monitor the execution at supplier side.

6. You will support in supplier assessment (audit for existing suppliers as required)and process audit on vendor site.

7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical or electrical or other related industry.

2. Required with 5+ years of quality management experience in production company.

3. Knowledge in the area of modern quality management methods and techniques such as 6Sigma, 8D, FMEA,CP, SPC and etc.

4. Ability to read technical documentation; excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people and practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP systems.

6. Team leader attitude, client orientation and passion for detail.

7. Experience of industrial area, knowledge of machining, casting, painting, transformer experience as a plus.

8. ISO 9001 internal auditor, ISO 16949 Internal Auditor as a plus.

9. Good English skill.
