Environment Specialist (temporary)

Mission statement:

Contribute to improving the environmental performance of the PGHV organization. Support business by applying in-depth environmental knowledge to offer solutions and advice.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in implementation of Waste Management, drive and ensure compliance with Environment management systems (ISO 14001).

  • You will work on reports environment incidents, share feedback on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and employees and reports progress on implementation PGHV Environment objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to HSE/SA Manager as required.

  • You will track, assess and reports on emerging environmental trends and related legislation, support managers to ensure the respective organization is compliant with environment-related laws, standards and guidelines.

  • You will implement standard, ensure area of responsibility is audited according to program for audit and contribute to effective risk management of environment-related issues in the business by providing suggest to the HSE/SA manager.

  • You will ensure appropriate environmental equipment and tools are available and used, identify, plan and initiate training need, e.g. for employees, contractor and manage hazardous and chemical waste programs for PGHV factory.

  • You will respond to chemical spill emergencies by managing the containment, clean up, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Your background:

  • University Degree in Labor, Health, Safety or Environment technical or management. Relevant mechanical/electrical background is acceptable.

  • Minimum 2 years recently working experience in similar position in a manufacturing industry environment, especially in global company is prefer.

  • Understand and involve in the Environment management systems (ISO 14001) and SAP.

  • Well communication skills, Email writing & verbal training.

  • Paper works handle properly, good in basic Excel, Power point, presentation, making report.

  • Good English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)/ Ielts 5.5 or equivalent level.
