About the Role:
As mission-critical infrastructure providers, HSE & Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do, and the safety of our people is our license to operate. We strive for continuous improvement as we make HSE a part of our DNA In this position the employee will carry out HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) activities to eliminate or reduce occupational health, production safety, environmental and fire risks within company premise and to ensure the normal operation of the company in accordance with national occupational health, safety, environmental and fire related laws and regulations and company HSE requirements.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Local Sustainability Officer and other teams to review HSE plans and assist with implementation throughout the plant
Serve as a HSE subject matter expert to team members
Provide advice, support and training where necessary to management and workforce to achieve HSE objectives and maintain regulatory compliance
Participate and support analysis of incident trends and provide recommendations for preventative and improvement actions
Maintain required HSE records and develop and present routine HSE progress reports
Lead accident investigations to ensure that root-cause analysis is appropriately conducted, and corrective actions address the causes
Experience with Microsoft Office and plant specific software systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, health & safety, health sciences, business administration, or closely related subject and at least one year health-related experience
