Software Engineers/Programmers matching to this specialization work in a software R&D environment developing software source code or new software that will be released commercially. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Your responsibilities

• Embedded software developer for Communication Products
• Participate in requirement analysis
• Use standard design and test methodologies
• Write module tests, and document test result
• Create/update automated tests-benches
• Provide inputs for end user documentation
• Work with communication protocols, IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-103, Modbus
• Conduct and take part in reviews, such as design, code and documentation
• Electric power systems and/or relay protection, communication products will be advantage
• Great skills in C/C++ and development of embedded real-time systems, Data structure, RTOS preferably VxWorks, Microprocessor/computer architecture
• Knowledge in Software Engineering and BSP
• Knowledge of Test Automation Script utility like TCL/TK optional. Knowledge of UML.       
• Worked on Industrial Communication protocols like TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SNMP. Know-how of\ IEC61850 would be added advantage
• Knowledge of working with DSP/ Python might be an advantage
• Manage agile software development (SCRUM)
• Creation and estimations of PBIs, and create necessary task to get the PBI to Done
• Take part in assigned meetings with an open and transparent communication
• Proficiency in English, speaking and writing
• Personal software management

Your background

• Candidate must have educational qualification in BE/Btech/Masters - Electronics / Communication / Computer Science
• Candidate must have about 3 to 8 years of relevant experience
