Join our R&D team and take on the exciting challenge of developing and maintaining embedded software for our mission-critical communication systems. Do you combine an excellent understanding of software engineering with the ability to improve your skills continuously as technology evolves. Would you like to deepen and extend your knowhow in the domain of L2VPN - L3VPN Technologies, Routing Protocols, IEEE Bridging, PTP, SDN, NFV etc.

Your responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain software solutions for embedded, and mission critical communication systems.
Support the integration of new Ethernet switching solution into various products or enabling additional L2/L3 protocols on the integrated stacks interacting with the respective SDK's.
Carry out a broad variety of functional, performance and standard compliance tests.
Evaluate, monitor, report and increase code quality and security.
Your background
BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Creativity, enthusiasm, fast learning and result orientation
Experience with C/C++ and Python programming
Usage of embedded Linux-based systems
Broad IT and SW background and willingness to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies.
Being acquainted with agile practices and enjoying the collaboration with distributed teams
Excellent communication and technical writing skills, fluency in written and spoken English, German is a plus.
