Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring an HR Operations Specialist to join our HR Operations Team. This is a hybrid role, based in Hitachi Energy’s Zaventem offices and your home office, and focuses on blue collars for our production site in Jumet (Charleroi).
Wherever required you function as a back-up for the other team members during absences. You report to the HR Operations Team Lead Benelux.
HR Operations include work across multiple administration areas for established HR and rewards programs including:
HR employment issues (hiring and termination processes and labor law issues, contract renewals and dismissals, trainee programs, expatriates, control/process of retirement, etc.)
Personnel records maintenance (job history, retirement, and insurance documentation, leave accrual records and details of illness, absences, transfers, salary progression, etc.)
Statistical reporting to internal management (employee demographics, skills inventory, absenteeism, overtime, employee turnover) and external agencies (e.g., government agencies, insurance companies, unions, etc.)
Rewards program implementation and administration (e.g., compensation administration, employee benefits administration, etc.)
Your responsibilities:
Ensure timely and correct salary payment for blue collars within our global payroll processes.
Ensure Workday HR Master data is up to date.
Consolidate and validate all required data for monthly payroll for blue-collar, advance and final pay, and any other specific regular or one-time payments, and consolidate all absences (holiday, illness).
Ensure all working (hours/overtime/holidays) have been validated and approved by the appropriate management chain.
Assist and support managers in adhering to the HR Operations working model.
Ensure all HR Ops-related questions are raised using MyHR (ServiceNow) and ensure appropriate onboarding (new hires) and off-boarding (leavers)
Ensure timely registration & communication of Blue-Collar-specific benefits.
Ensure a good understanding of all HR Operations processes with all stakeholders and escalate any deviations or exceptions to the direct manager.

Your background:
At least 5 years experience in a similar role in a blue-collar industrial environment.
Having worked for a “secretariat social” is a plus.
Highly proficient in English and French, both written and spoken.
Experienced working with PC 111 is a huge advantage.
Experience working with Workday is a plus.
You work independently but consult management when appropriate and can communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
