Feeder Factory Orders Handling (Part Time)

Feeder Factory is an internal Organizational Unit which supply Hitachi Energy as well as third parties SW and HW products to projects. The resource will report to the Global Operations Manager of the business.

Your responsibilities:

  • Verify order accuracy, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping details, to ensure seamless fulfillment.

  • Liaise with internal departments including sales, warehouse, and shipping to coordinate order fulfillment and delivery schedules.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns regarding order status, delivery times, and product availability.

  • Resolve order discrepancies and issues such as damaged or missing items, coordinating with relevant departments for timely resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of orders, customer interactions, and any changes or modifications to orders.

  • Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange shipments, track deliveries, and ensure on-time arrivals.

  • Respond to possible queries from DHL in case additional documents or clarifications are needed at the customs clearance

  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies and procedures, striving to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities and promote additional products or services to customers.

  • Continuously monitor order processing workflows and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in calls / meetings with R&D regarding the issuance of new products/releases etc.;

  • Share the exportation documents periodically with the project controlling/country trade compliance office at their request;

  • Send requests to Masterdata to create new internal customer codes in SAP in case they are not present for Sales Order creation.

Your background:

  • Degree in engineering/economics or technical diploma;

  • 2-3 years of experience in similar roles;

  • Good level of Italian and English;

  • Good organizational skills, attention to details and proactivity are required;

  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
