As Application Manager - CAD you apply strong CAD technology knowledge and expertise to the applications in scope. You are strongly involved in all operational activities and contribute to the end-to-end application’s lifecycle, from solution design, through development / configuration, testing and deployment including users' training and support.
Your responsibilities
- Support the collection, analysis and prioritization of business requirements and design of CAD solutions to fulfill them, aligned with the defined technology and architecture targets
- Support building and testing CAD installation packages and its roll-out globally
- Working closely with the business and other IT stakeholders, support the deployment of PLM/CAD tools to Hitachi Energy factories by performing data migration initiatives, where required, developing scripts and automation whenever possible
- Provide installation, maintenance and support for the tools in scope, including defects identification and fixing as well as enhancements
- Build and keep the knowledge base up-to-date by documenting processes and relevant project or service information
- Be the SME for the CAD tools in scope
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, electrical or mechanical engineering
- >5 years of working experience with the specified technologies
- Working experience in software development
- Working experience in the engineering / manufacturing domain
- Technology:
- Creo Parametric v.4 / v.5 / v.8
- Creo View MCAD / Express
- Creo Toolkit programming
- Windchill PLM basic knowledge, CAD integration
- Knowledge of SmartDesign / SmartAssembly (SigMaxim)
