For our BU Grid Automation in Genova, we are looking for a Service Engineer for Battery Energy Storage System.
Your responsibilities:
Execute service work on Batteries Energy Storage Systems according to work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes.
Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at site or from remote.
Identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on site activities in different areas (service, installation and commissioning, retrofits, technical assistance).
Utilize the Hitachi Energy remote connection tools to collect data from the installed fleet and provide meaningful data analytics.
Work in close cooperation with the R&D and engineering team to identify digital solution and support the expansion of the service scope on the Hitachi Energy BESS installed base.
Collaborate with the service engineering team to finalize spare parts list and time schedules for the planned maintenance.
Act as resolution owner of the cases opened by the customers. Keep the assigned fleet database always up to date in terms of system configuration.
Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents.

Background:
Bachelor Degree in Electronical Engineering or Technical Diploma;
Experience of 5 years in Service;
Experience in automation and control is nice to have;
Good Knowledge of English and Italian;
Ability to work in team and problem solving;
Availability to travel between Italy and Europe (50%).
