Electrical Design Team Manager

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Design Team Manager to lead our team to deliver in our High-/Medium Voltage Substations and Power Quality Applications projects.

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Electrical Design Team Manager with expertise in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of our projects.

You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of engineers working on electrical power transmission and distribution projects, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Drive the planning, design, and implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, to ensure the seamless integration of electrification systems.
• Foster a culture of innovation and sustainability, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and best practices. Develop and implement engineering processes and quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
• Manage resource allocation, project scheduling, and budgeting to meet project goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the electrical power transmission and distribution sector, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training and development needs, and provide coaching and mentoring to enhance individual and team performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the electrical power transmission and distribution sector.
• Solid understanding of project development processes, including feasibility assessments, design, construction, and commissioning and cost estimations.
• Experience with regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
