Mechanical Design Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • You will do meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.

  • You will be planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD tools, like CREO, performing computer simulations, experimenting to virtually test and refine the designs.

  • You will be overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing, documenting the design process, iteration, and test analytics.

  • You will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.

  • You will run design for excellence practices (DFA, DFM, FMEA, etc.), prepare reports and related documents in accordance with internal and external requirements.

  • You will support the design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain organizations with technical expertise to ensure that technical requirements are fulfilled.

Your background:

  • You hold master’s or bachelor’s degree combined with work-life experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • More than 3 years of experience in Design & Engineering.

  • Knowledge on electrical engineering is a plus.

  • Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD and CREO.

  • Solid knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

  • Understanding of electrical, magnetic and thermal phenomena.

  • Excellent verbal and written English.
