The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare project HSE management plan in line with customer, legal & Hitachi ABB Power Grids (HAPG) HSE requirements.
Prepare an exclusive plan for project environment assurance, if applicable.
Identify & assist tender management to fully comply with tender evaluation criteria’s w.r.t HSE and ensure on time delivery.
Performing gap analysis of Customer, legal & HAPG HSE requirements & the most stringent shall be considered.
Provide HSE costs & budget for resources.
Prepare project specific HSE requirements for sub-contractors.
Prepare HSE agreement plans with consortium partners, if applicable
Manage, coach & communicate all HSE related issues to tender team.
Coordinate on HSE discussions with client, as contact point for HSE.
Criteria :
Bachelors in engineering or related discipline with Post graduation in Health, Safety & Environment/Bachelor’s in engineering or related discipline with Diploma in HSE.
Minimum 5 Years of experience on HSE experience in any electrical commissioning projects / power plants / sub stations / construction sites.
Knowledge on MS Office, Intelex & IMS.
Good Teamwork, Analytical, Communication & presentation skills.
