General information:
Adapt and implement sales support strategy for designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. Ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversee estimations and bids & proposals ensuring alignment with Hitachi Energy standards and targets. Proactively lead, develop and coach the local tendering team.
Responsibilities:
Strategy: Implement local sales support strategy.
Targets: Ensure that key targets are achieved for the customer support. Proposal development: The preparation of techno-commercial proposals through internal and external resources and ensure all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements. Competitiveness: Ensure most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer's priorities (technical/commercial) and conditions. Identify optimal approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) to be applied to better serve the customer.
Terms and conditions: Ensure all proposals terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) are in accordance and compliance to company's policy in each offer.
Resource allocation: Adequately plans and forecast workload to meet business needs. Collaborate, allocate internal, external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
Risk management (deal): Support bid/no bid analyses and decisions, participate and manage the deal risk review processes.
Customer: Ensure support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations, and in negotiations with customers to provides technical support and clarification as needed.
Occupational Health and Safety: Lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved. Responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up.

Your background:
Engineering/Trade qualifications - Electrical or equivalent.
More than 5 years of experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Power Industry in similar role.
Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.
Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail. Able to work with multiple stakeholders, functions and positions.
