Technical Expert - Power Quality

The Technical Expert in Power Quality Business is a critical role within the sales and marketing department, focused on driving business growth by leveraging technical expertise in power quality solutions. Your responsibilities:

  • You will work as a technical expert or segment specialist for Power Quality application mainly for LV Network.
  • You will support the ASM and Demand team from a technical point of view and represent the interests of the Hub BU in the given product.
  • You will be responsible for presenting technical meetings, promoting new technology to customers, and demonstrating technical leadership.
  • This individual will work closely with the sales team to provide technical support, develop marketing strategies, and engage with customers to deliver tailored solutions that address power quality challenges.
  • Provide in-depth technical support to the sales team and customers.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of customer requirements and propose appropriate power quality solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in power quality technologies and solutions.
  • Offer technical training and workshops to sales teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to support sales efforts.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Create technical content for marketing materials, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and webinars.

Your Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in power quality, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power quality solutions and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have a good understanding of the technology trend and market status.
  • Have good communication and coordination skills with LMS, local factories, and global PGs.
  • Good skill in customer/internal meetings or events, Strong influence on customers from a technology point of view.
  • Marketing experience or customer sense is a plus.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & and written English language is required.
