Business Analyst

The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing Digital solutions like Digital Passport System (DPS) & Digital Factory to become its global solution for global traceability, from suppliers to end-customers. DPS is a cloud-based platform that attaches unique digital identity and critical quality information to each of our products and allows immediate end-to-end identification and location of affected units if quality issues were detected.  

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, clarify objectives, and drive consensus among stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

• Create and maintain detailed functional documentation, including process flows, use cases, and business rules.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, developers, QA) to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support change management initiatives.

• Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics to evaluate project outcomes and business impact.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.

• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, business process modeling, and documentation standards.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.

• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights.
