As a member of our team in Lenzburg, you will help by industrialization of SiC (Silicon Carbide) as the novel material for new generation of power electronic devices. You will ensure that certain systems and equipment used in the area of Diffusion/ High temperature Treatment/ LPCVD/ PECVD/ RIE are up and running at all times – for the optimum of R&D and operations in BiMOS semiconductor production. Your ultimate goal: high-volume, zero-defects production of power semiconductors (24/7) in close cooperation with Process and Operations departments. At the same time, we will be relying on your intuitive skills when it comes to quality management, cooperation with tool suppliers as well as your well-developed organizational maintenance abilities. Your responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and proficient repairs of production and R&D equipment (SiC-focused)
- Provide professional assistance with fault analyses, servicing activities, and technical conversions
- Targeted optimization of procedures in order to improve machine uptime
- Work in close collaboration with Facility Management and external suppliers
- Definition of the new tools for SiC production, help in installation, qualification and ramp-up
- Ensure detailed documentation of machinery condition and all work performed
Your background
- Vocational training in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with several years of service experience relating to machinery/systems used in semiconductor production
- Demonstrable expertise relating to electrical systems, electronics, PLC, pneumatics, vacuum technology, and robotics engineering
- Knowledge of Centrotherm high temperature ovens, RTP tools, PECVD and/or RIE equipment is of advantage
- Good command of German and/or English
