We are looking for a Senior Learning Specialist that will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The po-sition will research products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented and easily un-derstood by a broad audience.
Your responsibilities
- Create and update product documentation and descriptions without oversight
- Cooperate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and other Technical Writ-ers
- Speak with development teams to clarify feature details and specifications
- Take the lead of documentation projects
- Share your knowledge with other team members
- Test beta features and learn how our software works to become a subject matter expert
Your background
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technical writing, English, communications, Engineering, ora related area of study
- Fluent English (both written and spoken)
- At least 5 years in a similar role with some experience of writing for technical audiences
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to prepare easy-to-read text in plain Eng-lish
- Practical knowledge of using international style guides for writing in English (Microsoft Manual of Style or the AP Stylebook) or STE
- Experience working with a docs-as-code workflow and ability to prepare simple code sam-ples
- Experience with technical writing tools (MadCap Flare), content management systems, source control systems (Git), Jira, and Confluence
