Service Project Engineer

The Opportunity:

Lead the Service execution of small-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. 

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will define documented project plan, including scope, financials, schedule, risk management& HSE, ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies, effectively monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization.

• You will monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow, ensure that financial reporting is up-to-date, and all the project related documents are stored according to Hitachi Energy policies, present in Project/Service agreement/Warranty reviews, identify, qualify, quantify and manage risk.

• You will ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued, capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project, ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed, drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.

• You will ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claim management, in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements, coordinate with Supply Chain Management, successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers, support Supply Chain Management in negotiation, claim and project changes.

• You will act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders, pursuit to develop customer relationship enabling business continuation and/or sustainable business relationship, provide feedback internally to develop products, processes, operations and services.

• You will ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Your background:

• You hold bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• 0 to 3 Years of experience in relevant field.

• Positive mindset, Systematic thinking skills.

• The ability to learn quickly.

• Good command in speaking & written English language and demonstrate active listening skills.
