IT Service Manager & End User Support for Data Repository

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily operations behind the Data Repository Service in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) application between internal team and end users.
  • User access management and trainings. Creating and improving training materials and user manuals.
  • Supporting system users in daily tasks and validate if they proceed according to the agreed business process.
  • Daily process workflow monitoring to ensure request completion within agreed lead time. Monitoring of data flow to external applications.
  • Supporting non-standard requests for data maintenance or simple system configurations as system Administrator.
  • Maintaining, monitoring and communicating monthly KPIs’ (Key Performance Indicators) for data completeness, compliance and accuracy. Defining and coordinating corrective action plans to improve KPI.
  • Incident management and resolution coordination. Troubleshooting, support and service between end users and support teams.
  • Optimizing processes to improve user experience and process efficiency. Recommending enhancement goals for system functionalities. Defining user stories for the technical team, based on business requirements. Supporting UAT (User Acceptance testing).

Background (requirements):

  • Master's degree in one of the following disciplines:  IT, Computer Science, or other technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in managing global IT applications/services or users support, or in projects management; understanding of technical aspects of an application.
  • Fluent spoken and written English: ability to communicate effectively with business community, product owners, developers and end users from different areas (engineering, supply-chain, material planning) and different regions/cultures.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint. PowerBI or SQL basics would be a plus.
  • Master Data management experience, especially SAP S/4 Hana Material Master (MM) and/or PLM would be a plus.
  • Experience in working with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL) would be a plus
  • Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility. Be able to work on own initiative, balance multiple tasks, handle work pressure. Strong customer focus attitude and attention to details.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and give valid conclusions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as functional and technical specifications in English.
