Transport and Logistic Administrator

The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly organized and motivated, detail-oriented Transport and Logistics Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the inbound transportation and logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Identifies and selects appropriate transport model(s) and plans transport routes to minimize costs whilst meeting service requirements;
• Negotiates contracts and pricing agreements for transportation and logistics services;
• Ensures shipments are sent on time and according to the defined plan and schedule;
• Prepares administrative transportation documentation. Fulfils shipping, packing and marking procedures per project requirements;
• Liaises with forwarders for freight quotes, documentation, and delivery;
• Participates in local/regional projects as required;
• Organise transportation in the best way, considering lead time, cost and reliability;
• Create GTS.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Previous experience on similar position;
• Good level of written and verbal communication in English;
• Good knowledge in MS-Office products (Outlook and Excel);
• Experience with SAP will be consider as an advantage;
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
