Project Technical Engineering Specialist Professional

Your responsibilities:

• You will front Engineering and Technical engineering for ongoing VSC-HVDC project in Japan.
• You will front Engineering and Technical support for Classic type HVDC systems previously delivered by Hitachi ltd.
• You will be providing technical support projects in resolving the issues related to Control and Protection, Main circuit apparatus, System engineering and Auxiliary system.
• You will manage the communication with the customer, sub-suppliers, sub-contractors and partners on technical matters.
• You will plan, execute and control the interface with the procurement processes.
• You will coordinate with different stakeholders across the business units to ensure smooth completion of the project deliverables.

Your background:

• You hold a university degree in Engineering, or a degree deemed to be equivalent.
• You should have basic knowledge on IEEE / IEC standards. Japanese standard (JEC, JIS etc.) knowledge is preferable.
• You should have experience in substation application.
• Experience from HVDC System is preferrable.
• You should be able to create document used with MS Word, Excel, Power point.
• Sales and Tendering experience are highly desirable.
• Site experience is highly desirable 
• Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
