Mechanical Design Platform Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for maintenance, enhancement and development of the factory's dry-type transformer automation design platform, including 3D modeling and 2D drawing.

  • You will have deep understanding of mechanical design for dry-type transformer standard products.

  • You will provide timely troubleshooting and comprehensive support to mechanical design teams for design-related issues.

  • You will collaborate closely with global mechanical design platform team, actively communicate feedback and strategic requirements.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional design experience, preferably in transformer or electrical equipment industry proficient in at least one 3D design software (Creo, NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.); knowledge of parametric design is preferred.

  • Passionate about manufacturing industry with strong enthusiasm for technology and commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; basic programming knowledge required (hands-on project experience preferred), with strong willingness to enhance programming skills.

  • Self-motivated learner with analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Results-driven mindset, proactive learning attitude & excellent project and time management skills.

  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
