Electrical project engineer - Control and Protection

We are looking for experienced engineer in control and protection systems and AC/DC supply of HV electrical substations. In this position, you will coordinate engineering on projects in electrical transmission systems, renewable energy sources and data centres in the global market. You will be responsible for efficiency in project execution, project costs, contractual specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Úlohy:

• Preparation and review of Control, protection and metering single line diagrams and Substation automation system architecture topology.
• Preparation and review of detailed drawings of Interlocking diagrams, Block diagrams for metering and protection in adherence to specifications and standards.
• Review and approval of Control and protection detail design drawings and schemes.
• Preparation of ordering codes for control, protection and metering IEDs for tenders and projects.
• Preparing of relay setting calculation and CT / VT sizing.
• Preparation of SCADA signal list.
• Preparation of technical data sheets for Secondary technology and vetting of supplier drawings.
• Attending meeting with client and supplier to clarify technical queries and provide solutions.
• Provide project management support, including managing engineering scope according to specifications and contract, equipment procurement, developing change orders and maintaining project schedules.
• Reporting to engineering manager regularly about the activities and status. Technically under the leadership of Project Manager Engineering when executing project.
• Providing construction, installation & commissioning support from office and during site visits.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca

• University education (master’s degree, Postgraduate) of ELECTRICAL or POWER ENGINEERING
• English – Upper Intermediate (B2) - German language is welcome (not mandatory)
• 8 of years of experience
• Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAE applications of AutoDesk. MicroStation is an advantage.
• Understanding of project scheduling (planning) and interrelationships within a construction project.
• Experience at construction or commissioning at site is an advantage.
