Senior Power Applications Engineer

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and understand customer engineering, business, and software requirements.
  • Propose technically feasible solutions and estimate required effort.
  • Design, develop, test, integrate, and document network applications for customer projects.
  • Support software releases and assist with problem analysis and resolution.
  • Actively research and expand knowledge in power system analysis, market operation, optimization, and real-time control.
  • Represent the company in internal and external discussions, customer meetings, and industry gatherings.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience focused on Power Network Applications and Control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated programming skills in high-performance software language
  • Experience developing power system application software for Electric Utilities or Electricity Markets.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Linux or similar.
