How you’ll make an impact:

  • ISO14001/45001 certification - you will lead internal audit and coordinate external audit to maintain the certifications. 

  • You will do regulations monitoring and share the updates with units, monitor HSE performance, advise and follow up improvement actions and support HSE initiatives in the units for continues improvement.

  • You will be training support (LSR, PICW, ABRA).

  • You will support Chinese HSE documentation (Policy, posters, training courses, operating system documentation, survey etc.), coordinate Green Electricity Certification purchasing in China and support local sustainability initiatives.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

  • More than 5years of EHS experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or other high-risk industries.  

  • Experience in EHS audits, compliance inspections, and corrective action plans.  

  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH, or China’s Registered Safety Engineer are preferred.   

  • Strong stakeholder management to drive EHS compliance across units. Deep understanding of Chinese EHS regulations and global standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and skilled in risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency response.

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
