The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

• You will be responsible for dry transformer mechanical design, generate 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings and BOMs.

• You will provide outline drawings and wiring diagrams for customers, and provide technical support for customer needs.

• You will analyze and solve the technical issues in workshop and on site.

• You will support design improvement projects, including optimizing design rules, cost saving projects.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering and Automation..

• At least 3-year working experience related field of engineering or R&D. Transformer design experience is preferred.

• Proficient in using CAD, ProE and other drawing tools and Proficient in using Excel/Word/PPT and other office software.

• Outstanding communication skills, result-oriented, and capable of analyzing solutions.

• Team player with high level of initiative, self-learning, and pragmatic approach.

• To be willing to take challenges.

• Excellent English in oral and written both.
