Trade, Transport & Logistics Specialist

The opportunity:

Supports Business Function and/or Business Excellence Centers to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. Develop, maintain, and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize inbound and/or outbound products and material delivery to external and internal clients.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will utilize various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling.

  • You will prepare and update monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinate product delivery schedule with customers.

  • You will coordinate daily activities to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes, and re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost.

  • You will communicate fulfilment status to Logistics and Sales organizations as appropriately, work closely with transport service providers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assist in obtaining necessary transport permits, codes and prepare proper transportation paperwork and export documentation.

  • You will support the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintain master data.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • More than 5 years of experience in transport, trade, and logistics within manufacturing, industrial, or similar sectors.

  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and tracking transportation activities across multiple modes (road, sea, air). Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs compliance, advanced computer skills with proficiency in SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), MS Office, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, service providers, and cross-functional teams across different cultures and time zones.

  • Hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, and material handling processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and integration with ERP platforms such as SAP.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
