The opportunity

We are looking for a Secondary Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing control systems for high voltage substations. You will have the opportunity to enhance your engineering skills both in the office and on-site across Norway. Main task will be to follow Control & Protection packages for our deliveries.

How you'll make an impact

•     Develop and create technical drawings and documents essential for construction and   project execution.

•     Take responsibility for all substation Control and Protection design, calculation, and documentation

•     Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs comply with customer requirements and local regulations/standards.

•     Conduct necessary clarifications on components, supplies, services, and control and protection systems.

•     Participate actively in testing and commissioning activities, working closely with commissioning engineers on-site.

•     Engage with factories and suppliers across Europe to support project needs.

 

Your background

•     Higher education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

•     Broad knowledge in substation Control and Protection engineering and execution

•     The following will be considered positively:

    o     Knowledge of electrical design software EPLAN, E3 or Autocad.

    o     Knowledge of Power Systems, Renewable Energy and Transmission Systems.

    o     Knowledge of control systems, SCADA and programming.

    o     Experience of commissioning, testing of protections, secondary and primary  injections.

•     A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills to quickly resolve project related activities and issues.

•     Experience in an engineering department or site work.

•     Fluent in English and Norwegian, both spoken and written.
