Global Business Process Expert - TM (Transport Management)

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Business Process Expert – TM (Transport Management) for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will drive global program implementation by ensuring adherence to standard processes and optimizing the use of core systems like SAP and MES. You will identify, analyze, and enhance business processes to foster continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable growth, while collaborating with stakeholders across functions to promote operational excellence. How you will make an impact

  • Analyze business requirements across regions and factories, proposing innovative solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Harmonize business processes, eliminating template deviations and aligning with product line and business archetype logic.
  • Collaborate with regional and local teams to resolve system-related issues and manage the demand funnel for new requirements.
  • Proactively address user pain points by resolving incidents and analyzing patterns to enhance incident management efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive training materials and user manuals to support ongoing system use and operational excellence.
  • Develop and deliver tailored training sessions to empower local Business Process Owner and key users, enhancing SAP system proficiency.
  • Lead change initiatives by driving the adoption of globally harmonized processes and minimizing local customizations.
  • Monitor and report on implementation progress, ensuring adherence to global processes and sharing best practices across regions.

Your background

  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles related to business process management or program implementation in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in SAP and MES systems and at least one of the following SAP modules: TM, MM, PP.
  • Ability to analyse complex requirements and incidents, identify patterns, and propose effective solutions that meet business needs.
  • Effective communication skills with a proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative environment to drive initiatives.
  • Demonstrated competence in influencing and motivating teams to adopt new processes, reduce resistance, and achieve successful transitions to globally harmonized practices.
