Communications Specialist - Spain & Portugal

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Specialist to drive and support internal and external communications activities across Spain and Portugal. This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility, employee engagement, and strategic messaging aligned with our business goals. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling, digital content creation, and cross-functional collaboration.

How you will make an impact
  • Lead Strategic Communications: Plan and execute internal and external campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.

  • Create Engaging Content: Craft high-quality articles, executive messages, and announcements tailored to diverse audiences.

  • Design Visual Assets: Develop presentations, infographics, and multimedia content that bring our stories to life—always on-brand.

  • Support Events & Campaigns: Partner with local teams and agencies to deliver standout events and marketing initiatives.

  • Drive Local Engagement: Manage communications that strengthen our presence and culture in Spain and Portugal.

  • Oversee Platforms & Reporting: Keep our communication channels (like SharePoint) fresh and effective, and track performance through regular reporting.

Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience in communications, media, marketing, or government relations—ideally with a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Proven writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content across channels (media, web, internal, branding, etc.) and handle media requests with confidence.

  • Skilled in developing and analyzing communication metrics to drive impact and engagement across diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and social media, with hands-on experience managing content and communication tools.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and internationally, with a talent for building networks and engaging senior leaders and external partners.

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask under pressure, and fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
