General Sales & Marketing Specialist Professional

You as a Sales Manager, will be part of Power Grids Grid Integration based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing innovative marketing strategies to expand market share and enhance brand visibility across various product lines and services, build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Selling products/systems and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. This Role is for the Sub Station Division of Hitachi Energy in the United Arab Emirates focusing on Retrofit, Extensions & Upgrade, Service of existing install base, New Sub Stations, and with the Focus on Containerized Solutions, Mobile Sub Stations, Power Quality installations, such as CAP Banks, SVC's, STATCOM's and the like. Renewables also considered, where we can leverage Engineered Packages, including Product supply, Supervision of Installation and Commissioning.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring adherence to company policies and profitability targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Sales Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans aligned with company objectives and market trends. Preparing sales plans and forecasting using company tools, Knowledge of Sales Force Dot Com, Software would be an advantage. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Analyze sales performance data and marketing campaign effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.
  • Creating added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. Special Focus should be on Industrial Customers. Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Manage and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, events, and public relations. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.  Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and client relationship management.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market gaps.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to ensure effective product positioning and messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

Your background

A bachelor’s degree in electrical.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Industries Segment experience in UAE preferred.

8 to 10 Years of experience in High Voltage Experience in Sub Stations, along with knowledge of Control & Protection Systems, FACT's, Containerized Solutions & Power Quality Solutions.
