The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will be responsible for the whole-life cycle quality management of transformer suppliers, including supplier access review, regular audit and quality performance evaluation.

2. You will focus on the quality control of core transformer materials (silicon steel sheet, copper wire, insulating materials, etc.), formulate incoming inspection standards and supervise implementation.

3. You will handle incoming quality abnormalities from suppliers, promote root cause analysis and corrective/preventive measures, and ensure closed-loop management.

4. You will coordinate with R&D, procurement and production departments to ensure purchased materials meet transformer industry standards and company production requirements.

5. You will promote continuous quality improvement of suppliers and optimize the supplier quality system.

6. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering or related majors.

2. Required with 1-3 years of SQE work experience in transformer industry is preferred; familiar with transformer production process and core material quality characteristics.

3. Familiar with transformer industry standards (such as GB/T 1094 series) and quality management system (ISO 9001), proficient in quality tools (8D, 5Why, FMEA, etc.).

4. Strong ability in supplier audit, quality problem analysis and solution; good communication and coordination skills.

5. Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness, principle-oriented, able to adapt to business trips.

6. Ability to read and understand transformer technical drawings, inspection reports and material specifications.

7. Good logical thinking and execution ability, able to independently promote supplier quality rectification and continuous improvement.

8. Proficient in office software (Excel, Word, PPT) and able to complete supplier quality data statistics and report writing.
