How you’ll make an impact

1.Cybersecurity Issue and Risk Management in the Region
You will coordinate regional cybersecurity issue and risk management activities in collaboration with global Cybersecurity function teams. You will drive the lifecycle of cybersecurity issues originating from multiple Cybersecurity function teams, including industrial cybersecurity issues and cybersecurity incident-related issues, ensuring clear ownership, transparency, and timely resolution. You will facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and global Cybersecurity function teams, monitor remediation progress, remove delivery blockers, and provide regional visibility of cybersecurity issues and risk status.
2.Cybersecurity Project Delivery in the Region
You will plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of cybersecurity projects, programs, and initiatives across the NEA region. You will drive the implementation of global cybersecurity strategies, services, and requirements at regional and local levels, while coordinating internal and external stakeholders, business units, functions, factories, and vendors. You will support project execution, remediation, acceptance, and operationalization to ensure successful delivery, business adoption, and sustainable outcomes.
3.Regional Compliance and Regulatory Authority Engagement
You will support the execution of regional cybersecurity compliance and regulatory requirements. You will engage with regulatory authorities and industry organizations, respond to regulatory supervision activities, and support the implementation of applicable cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards. You will contribute to maintaining regulatory readiness and ensuring alignment between global cybersecurity requirements and local regulatory expectations.
4.Regional Cybersecurity Liaison and Consulting
You will serve as the primary cybersecurity point of contact for regional business units and functional teams. You will provide cybersecurity consulting, assessments, requirement analysis, and project support services to help stakeholders address security risks and meet compliance obligations.
5.Security Operations Coordination
You will support cybersecurity incident response, vulnerability management, supply chain cybersecurity assessments, ISO 27001 activities, and other cybersecurity operations and risk management initiatives.
6.Cybersecurity Awareness and Communication
You will drive the implementation of regional cybersecurity awareness, training, and communication campaigns to strengthen cybersecurity culture and promote security best practices.
7. Multi-Country Operational Support
You will provide cybersecurity operational support, incident coordination, and stakeholder engagement across Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. You will act as a regional coordinator to ensure effective communication, consistent service delivery, and alignment with regional cybersecurity objectives.
8. Continuous Improvement and Professional Development
You will capture lessons learned from day-to-day operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity services and processes. You will stay current with evolving cybersecurity technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices to enhance professional expertise and organizational capabilities.

Your background

1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or MLPS-related qualifications are preferred.

2.Minimum of four years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with demonstrated experience in cybersecurity compliance and regulatory requirements within China and/or the NEA region.

3.Strong understanding of MLPS 2.0 implementation processes, Chinese cybersecurity laws and regulations, and international standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Previous experience engaging with regulatory authorities is highly desirable.

4.Knowledge of cloud security, SIEM, data encryption, endpoint detection and response, Internet of Things, and industrial control systems (ICS/OT). Proven project management and cross-functional coordination experience is preferred.

5.Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with strong capabilities in regulatory analysis and cross-cultural collaboration. Able to clearly communicate cybersecurity requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

6.Based in Beijing and willing to travel within the region for approximately 20% of the time. Knowledge of power grid, industrial environments, or Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity is considered an advantage.
