The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How you’ll make an impact

1. You will control project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
2. You will develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed tasks, resource allocation, and timelines.
3. You will lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
4. You will monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
5. You will manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
6. You will communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
7. You will facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and external partners.
8. You will ensure projects adhere to Hitachi's quality standards, methodologies, and best practices.
9. You will conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and improve future project management processes.
10. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within a large, complex organization.
3. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

4. PMP or equivalent project management certification.
5. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
7. Proficiency in project management software.
8. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
10. Experience with risk management, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.

11. Excellent English in written and oral
