You’ll be responsible for guiding engineers toward clear goals and ensuring delivery excellence. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, understands how to align team capabilities with business needs, and fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Define, develop, and implement product quality assurance strategy across SCADA, EMS, and Transmission domains.
  • Lead the Quality Control team, including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop team capabilities through supervision, training, mentoring, and career development.
  • Coordinate with Program and Development Managers to assign QC team members with the right skills to programs.
  • Oversee creation and execution of test strategies and plans, ensuring effective testing throughout the SDLC.
  • Drive cross-functional testing engagement with stakeholders like Professional Services, Support, and Pre-Sales.
  • Ensure readiness of environments, equipment, personnel, and tools for testing, including minor releases.
  • Report test progress, escalate delays, support CI/CD and QA initiatives, track costs, and ensure test cases reflect customer workflows.
     

Your background

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in software QA, as well as in management
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with microservice-based distributed systems
  • Knowledge of C#, DevOps, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Keycloak, Docker, Swagger, JSON, REST
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with QA metrics and criteria
  • Skilled in problem solving, communication, project management, and team leadership
  • Detail-oriented with experience in Agile and Waterfall models and modern QA practices
