The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.
 
Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How you’ll make an impact

1. You will support the implementation of global programs in the factory by ensuring adherence to established global processes and solutions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic programs. Drive effective usage and full adoption of core systems, such as SAP and MES, by maximizing the potential of deployed solutions and realizing associated business benefits and engage with factory teams to gather and analyze business requirements, synthesizing input from stakeholders to identify needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals for process improvements.

2. You will drive the identification and elimination of template deviations in the factory to ensure consistency with global processes. Support the harmonization of business processes by collecting and prioritizing improvement requirements from key users. Evaluate and document change requirements and submit them for approval following the demand funnel process. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex issues, implementing measures to prevent reoccurrence. Propose improvements and modifications to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

3. You establish and implement metrics within the factory to enhance operational efficiency and quality, ultimately driving customer satisfaction. Conduct thorough data collection and analysis to monitor business process performance, ensuring accuracy in reporting to stakeholders and manage data practices within the factory to ensure accurate, consistent data management across systems and maintain data integrity and accessibility.

4. You will identify local training needs and provide support by organizing training sessions and resources to enhance team competency and performance. Effectively communicate training opportunities and updates to ensure all team members are informed and engaged and act as a change champion by driving the adoption of globally harmonized processes and minimizing local customizations. Persuade stakeholders by clearly demonstrating and explaining the rationale behind global processes, effectively communicating the benefits to secure local buy-in and commitment.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational roles related to business process management or program implementation in a manufacturing industry.

3. Solid understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.

4. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to synthesize information and derive actionable insights for process improvement.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse stakeholders.

6. Demonstrated competence in influencing and motivating teams to adopt new processes, reduce resistance, and achieve successful transitions to globally harmonized practices.
