The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a General Sales & Marketing for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Maneja (Vadodara) India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & delivers within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Will be focusing on Business Development and improving order booking for Isolators & Instrument Transformers business.
  • Close Co-ordination with Order execution, Engineering, SCM, Operations. Bid & proposal standardization & competence development
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive pre-bid documentation & presentations.
  • Determine most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Customer satisfaction improvement. Offer Value Based Selling in customer offerings for Isolator & Instrument transformer business in India.
  • Technical know of High Voltage AIS Products is must. i.e. Circuit Breakers / Instrument Transformers / Isolators.
  • Business developmental activities to expand Isolator business in India by proposing innovative solutions based on attractive technical and commercial solutions.
  • Ensure all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines.
  • Accountable for technical expertise and accuracy of the deliverables.
  • Engage with customers to learn and understand the drivers influencing their specification. Work out ideas on how to influence customer buying criteria.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in sales of HV switchgears or substations. 
  • Technical or commercial background on university level or equivalent. 
  • Multi culture experience is a benefit.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
