The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SCADA Commissioning Engineer to join us This role involves the full lifecycle commissioning of SCADA systems for Substation / Industrial applications, ensuring their reliable operation and optimal performance.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Execute the commissioning activities for SCADA systems, including hardware and software integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) of SCADA components and systems.

  • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, control engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and successful system handover.

  • Configure and optimize SCADA software applications, including HMI development, alarming, trending, and data archiving.

  • Conduct system performance tuning and optimization to meet operational requirements and efficiency targets.

  • Provide technical support and training to clients and operational staff on SCADA system functionality and maintenance.

  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues during commissioning and provide post-commissioning support as needed.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Generate detailed commissioning reports and documentation for project closure.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCADA system commissioning, preferably in industrial automation, power generation, Sub station sectors.

  • Proven expertise with MicroSCADA platforms

  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC UA).

  • Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, GE, Mitsubishi) and integration with SCADA systems.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control narratives.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex electrical, software, and network issues.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems is a plus.
