Facilities & Maintenance Manager

The Opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, we’re seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and infrastructure initiatives. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape the future of our manufacturing environment by driving reliability, safety, and efficiency across our facilities. You’ll lead a dedicated team, manage critical systems, and implement forward-thinking maintenance strategies that support our mission of powering a sustainable energy future. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team to ensure operational excellence

  • Manage and optimize the annual maintenance budget

  • Collaborate with Engineering to enhance production line reliability

  • Define and implement maintenance policies and lifecycle procedures

  • Drive improvement projects to reduce downtime and boost efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

  • Support staffing, training, and development initiatives

  • Champion a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

  • 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Willingness to work 2nd shift and occasional weekends

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience with ERP and workforce systems (e.g., SAP, Kronos)
