Training & Development Manager for Product Line Insulation & Components Europe

The opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hub Product Line Training & Development Manager for Transformer Insulation & Components to lead our training initiatives across Europe.

How you´ll make an impact

  • Strategy Development: Create and enhance the Product Line (Insulation & Components) Training Management strategy and systems to track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of training programs in collaboration with the global Business Unit (BU) Training Team.
  • Program Management: Oversee training, development, onboarding, and certification programs for our employees in production as well as office area, focusing on standardized processes and ensuring quality during onboarding of new colleagues and development of existing population.. Ientify & develop internal trainers for effective training delivery.
  • Needs Assessments Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs within the Product Line, maintaining accurate records of training activities and outcomes. Provide ongoing reports to the Hub Management on progress and impact.
  • Training Material Development: Design and execute effective training materials using Adult Learning methodologies, ensuring trainers are equipped to deliver impactful sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current training solutions and recommend enhancements to optimize employee performance and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the BU Training Team and other functions, including Hub/global leadership and HR Business Partners, to ensure the effective implementation of training strategies.
  • Organizational Capability: Drive accountability and increase employee engagement through the implementation of the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) system.
  • Program Guidance: Lead the regional implementation of global/Hub/Product Line training initiatives.

Your background

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in industrial training leadership, program design, and learning and development.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of driving continuous process improvements and aligning solutions with business needs. Experience in remote leadership is a plus.
  • Industrial Experience: Familiarity with matrixed manufacturing environment and experience in design to order business would be a plus.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in lean management systems and organizational transformation.
  • Attributes: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined in meeting deadlines while effectively leading cross-functional teams.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Europe as required with up to 30-50% combined with hybrid working model.
