The opportunity

General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including: Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers. Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions. Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s). Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

How you’ll make an impact

  • You are responsible for Business Development of High Voltage Products in Zone East
  • Identify White Spots in Zone for particular products.
  • Chalk out Actions to address those white spots with guidance from BU/ TL.
  • Identify projects during inception stage.
  • Promote complete High Voltage Products Portfolio in various segments like Industries, Utilities, Transport, Renewables , etc
  • Early identification and engagement with right channels like Direct offering, EPCs, Distributors etc.
  • Working closely with technical consultants, technical officials at user side to do the specin
  • Pushing New Technologies like Digital Portfolios, SF6 Free Switchgears in various   segments
  • Arranging technical seminars, presentations for Industries, Utilities for identified products .
  • Reporting leads, opportunities in necessary tools like SFDC and updating continuously.
  • Complete engagement with customer till finalization of contract, helping sales team for making inroads to customer organization
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Candidate should hold a Bachelor / master’s degree in engineering with relevant work experience.
  • For this role we are looking for someone with a university degree in electrical engineering combined with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Business Development / Sales of MV/ HV Switchgears.
  • To be successful in this role you are flexible with good communication skills and hold a strong customer focus.
  • Preferably, you have a proven track record of managing and facilitating change.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
