As a Facilities, Security & Safety Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and a trusted presence for employees, ensuring the lobby and surrounding areas remain safe, secure, and welcoming at all times.

Working closely with building teams and fellow security professionals, you will play an essential role in upholding policies, supporting emergency procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Greet visitors and verify identity upon entry

  • Maintain visitor logs and issue access badges

  • Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alerts

  • Provide clear directions and assistance to guests

  • Conduct routine security patrols of assigned areas

  • Support emergency response procedures when needed

  • Report incidents and escalate concerns appropriately

  • Enforce building policies and security protocols

Your background

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3–5 years of experience in a security-related role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations

  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
