How you’ll make an impact
1. You will ensure timely distribution of risk assessment surveys to relevant suppliers and stakeholders also gather responses and analyze and interpret the data in the risk assessment surveys, leveraging financial and market risk indicators to identify potential risks and areas of concern, run weekly meetings and coordinate with suppliers to review progress, work through outstanding items, address identified risks and ensure that corrective actions are implemented, provide on-demand support to Hub SCM and Category Managers in risk review processes, contributing with analysis and relevant insights.
2. You will be prepared detailed reports regularly on the findings from the surveys and present them to management and other stakeholders also accurately document and record supplier and internal customer communications and files, support the maintenance and continuous development of risk assessment surveys, focusing on the integration of financial and market risk aspects, as well as enabling structured risk review and clear risk treatment recommendations, tailored to the specific needs of the organization and its suppliers also conduct supplier financial risk assessments on an ad hoc basis or in conjunction with supplier capacity risk analysis, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of potential risks.
3. You will communicate and train suppliers on risk management platform functionalities, data requirements and other essential information, assist in the onboarding process of new suppliers, ensuring they understand the risk assessment requirements and respond to supplier and internal customer inquiries, gather and research relevant data/ information and verify customer's understanding of information and answer.
4. You will monitor supplier performance and compliance with risk management policies, address any issues or concerns raised by suppliers promptly and effectively and prepare monthly management briefing report, including key financial and market risk insights, trends, and identified exposures also work with suppliers to continuously improve supplier risk management practices and processes, with a focus on strengthening financial risk visibility, data quality, and proactive risk mitigation.
5. You will support regional event risk management activities by coordinating supplier responses and performing impact analysis, support the development and maintenance of instruction materials for supplier risk management, including playbooks and guidelines related to specific regulatory requirements, support the localization and adaptation of global risk assessment documents to align with local requirements as needed, support the analysis of local supply chain security and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with Legal and Trade Compliance to develop and enhance risk management guidelines and handbooks and also support supply chain resilience awareness initiatives by developing and delivering training programs, targeted communications, and engagement activities to strengthen risk management capabilities and promote best practices, by leveraging synergies among Hitachi units in the region.
6. You will support the collection, consolidation, and distribution of market intelligence within the responsible region, support global commodity market monitoring and analysis activities, contributing insights upon request also translate Chinese market intelligence reports into English to support global stakeholders.
7. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or computer science, economics or finance.
2. Early-career professional with initial experience in supply chain management, financial risk, treasury, controlling, risk management or related customer/application support (graduate program experience considered).
3. Experience in financial analysis, market risk, risk review, or enterprise risk management (ERM), ideally in a cross-functional or international environment, is preferred.
4. Personal and professional integrity, high accountability and say/do ratio, hands-on experience in utilizing data gathering and visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
5. Strong analytical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and market data. A highly customer-focused mindset and proven success delighting customer.
6. An operationally minded individual with marked time management and organization skills, combined with a structured and data-driven way of working.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, in a global context, with the ability to present complex topics in a clear, structured and concise manner.
