Global Finance Trainee

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will work within the Finance department in three six-month rotations, under the supervision of the country CFO or member of the senior Finance department and carry out various tasks and projects.

2. You will deliver value to our Accounting, Finance, Operations Control and Project control teams, and supporting the delivery of our Finance Direction and Business strategy.

3. You will collaborate with global teams within the Finance community to support our Finance in Transformation, delivery of a personal project during rotation to contribute to Hitachi Energy’s business strategy.

4. You will gain an understanding of what it takes to operate in a Finance organization within a Global business, participate in training and development activities to improve technical skills and understand each department’s daily processes and goals.

5. You will complete all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations and develop your strengths with the help of regular feedback and clearly established performance objectives. 

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

7. Living Hitachi energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

1. You hold a master's degree in business, or in finance, or another related discipline (studies to be completed before the start of the program).

2. Up to 18 months of professional work experience.

3. International mobility required for your assignments, where relocation assistance will be provided.

4. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

5. A drive to learn new skills as well as open to receiving and providing feedback.

6. A positive attitude with an innovative and creative mindset.

7. Proficient in written and spoken English, additional languages are considered as an advantage.
